Experimental analysis of combustion performance and emission characteristics of premixed charged compression ignition engine using low carbon fuel blends

Due to environmental changes across the global, there is urgent need take care of pollutions. 15–20% air pollution caused by automobiles, reason behind incomplete combustion, lack oxygen in fuel and etc. There are so many methods developed make good combustion inside cylinder adding additives, using biodiesels, changing injection timing pressures. Present researchers Nano additives harmful plants (Topinka et al., 2004). Here we nitromethane methanol as a additive diesel cylinder. D90-M7.5-N.M2.5 (diesel 95%, 5%, 7.5%) constant blend on engines with different injections timings (23,25,27,210 CA bTDC (before Top Dead Center)) at pressure 230 bar from loading conditions 0 full each time increased 25% load. When compared engine, 210 load conditions, improved engine's performance terms brake thermal efficiency 1.88%, specific consumption 3.33%, emissions, nearly 37% reduction NOx without Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) also 11.5% opacity.
